Complete service for waste treatment and disposal

I.M.G.2 provides a complete service for the treatment and/or disposal of various types of waste at our plants in Agrate Brianza (managed by Ingeco) and Gorle (managed by Esposito Servizi Ecologici) or at third-party plants.

Waste treatment and recovery

In our plants, waste is selected mechanically and manually with the aim of recovering high percentages of reusable materials, such as plastic, wood, glass, paper, ferrous materials, etc.
Non-recoverable waste is subjected to a targeted process to reduce its volume and is subsequently sent to waste-to-energy plants or, if not otherwise exploitable, is sent to landfill. Each operation is carried out with specific machinery and with total respect for the environment.

CER codes

The European Waste Catalogue is a harmonised list of wastes that provides a reference nomenclature with a common terminology for the whole European Union, with the aim of improving all activities related to waste management. Through the European Waste Catalogue (EWC) it is possible to identify the type of waste and its classification for disposal or recovery. The different types of waste included in the list are specifically defined by a six-digit code for each individual waste and the corresponding four- and two-digit codes for the respective chapters.
