Only a few days have passed since Ecomondo 2022 and yet the feeling is that of having experienced one of those events that leave their mark, not because they produce a simple long-lasting echo, but because they generate a change. In this case, it is a change in visions, awareness, skills, alliances, strategies. Never before has Ecomondo represented such a vortex of constructive and valuable interactions: every minute has generated engaging and concrete meetings, has put in contact not only those seeking a solution and those offering it, but companies with different and, often, complementary models.In short, it has allowed us to take a step (and perhaps more than one) forward in a sector that cannot and must not risk becoming discouraged with regard to evolution, development, attention to the adoption of technologies and operating methods aimed at efficiency, but also respect for the environment, the territory and people.
To better understand the impact that this edition of Ecomondo has had and is having, it is enough to look at certain numbers: compared to last year, there was a 41% higher turnout and the number of participants from abroad has even doubled (from more than 90 countries).
The exhibitor figures alone are indicative: 1,400 brands were present. And among them, of course, we were there too: for IMG2, Ingeco and Esposito Servizi Ecologici, this event represented an extraordinary opportunity to meet customers, suppliers and partners and to meet companies of different origins and sizes, committed like us to developing increasingly efficient and sustainable services and methodologies that can improve daily operations, but also help advance the entire sector. Meetings that offered us ideas and that could lead to valuable collaborations.We have, as they say, offered our “two cents” and collected the testimonies and opinions of technicians and experts in the sector. It has certainly been a valuable experience, rich in substance and nourishing for our idea of business and development and for our future vision.
